  • Areas of Expertise: For the past 15 years, she has owned and operated her own dog obedience school. Dina and her dogs compete in agility and competitive obedience. Dina has also trained her own wilderness search and rescue dog, and is affiliated with CARDA and the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. She is the current training director for HemoPet, greyhound rescue. She is also on the board of experts for the new Annenberg Foundation Pet Dog Facility being developed in Palos Verdes, California. Recently, Dina was the primary dog handler during a scientific study by the San Anselmo Medical Clinic--where they trained 6 dogs to detect cancer on humans via a breath-sniffing test. Outcomes resulted in 98% accuracy and were published in the American Journal of Medicine.

  • Cancer-sniffing dogs: Dina plans on opening a low cost-screening clinic with her cancer-sniffing dogs. She is also creating a program for autistic children and dogs. Dogs are great therapy for autistic kids.
